Thanks, Linda. The heat isn't such an issue for me but my husband is a bit more sensitive to it & since photography was actually his idea for a hobby when we retired, I go where he goes. Fortunately, he shoots mostly landscapes & I shoot mostly birds, bugs & butterflies ... no competition there. :D He just hollered that we are supposed to be able to see Venus this evening before dark so if it stays clear, might have some shots tomorrow. :thumbup:

Wow GeezerGal, this is a wonderful series of images. Sometimes it really pays off setting behind the keyboard and going through images rather than heading out to take more. Great job.

Thank you, zeek. I was surprised at how many I had pigeonholed in folders from our various jaunts during the last 2 years. I hope I won't bore the wonderful folks on this forum by posting some of them. Going thru them brought back good memories of places we need to go to again soon. Thank you for looking, Macbadger. I appreciate your comment. I also like the last one .. the lack of distraction in the bokeh of the background makes his glass wings stand out, even tho he is not one of the more colorful varieties.
