I don't necessarily agree. I never noticed that sloping background at all until I read this post and had to scroll back up to look again. So that had no detraction for me. Besides, if I had noticed it, I would assume that was just part of this boarder's "skate park" like a ramp or something. I'd leave it as is myself.
