An illegal alien, in Polk County , Florida , who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop, ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed.

The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area. As soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times.

Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor, undocumented immigrant 68 times.

Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had."
Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what!

The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes. When asked by a reporter how that could be, since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied: (BEST QUOTE ever) . . .."When you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die."

I lived in Orlando in the 60's and Dave Starr was the sheriff of Orange County. A man shot and killed one of his deputies and when the man was located in a seedy hotel, Sheriff Starr burst in with his 12 gauge and emptied it into the bad guy. Basically said the same thing. I would have shot him more times but my shotgun ran out of shells. True story.

the sheriffs dept i used to work for had a deputy shoot a suspect 18 times when asked at the board of inquiry why he shot that many times his reply was I RAN OUT OF BULLETS needless to say he was fired the correct term is i fired 18 round to stop the commission of the crime...just semantics but got to love the non ACLU politically correct crap answers

First off the Orlando paper is not a liberal paper. It endorsed Romney.

I have no qualms with shooting bad guys. If I recall the story there was a gun fight. In gun fights you use your ammo until there is no return fire and that is not immediately known.

You seem to stress illegal alien would you feel the same if the perp was a citizen? BTW you failed to mention the color of his skin. I wonder if he was an illegal Dutch alien?

However, in our society the police are not executioners they are law enforcers.

You want to live in a society where the police are executioners and you want to praise such actions I suggest you try Iran.

Well let’s look at the positive side of this story and situation….. the supposed suspect was in violation of two laws one in the country illegally and they killed a police officer…. Positive is the law officers on scene shoot out did not have to go to the gun range… The suspect was hit 68 times not including the misses (remember when bullets come back at you all target shooting goes out the door….) Suspect dead saves court fees saves room and board providing needless care meals free medical at public expense… most of the time when committing murder there is the death penalty well this again saved the tax payers money don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to watch feed then use expensive drugs sterile needle etc to execute…. Bottom line justice completed…… people can bitch complain be couch patatos quarterbacks all they want unless they have worked the field put their lives on the line for people to be safe and bitch them out all they want police officers are trained to do a job no one wants get under paid killed leaving families kids wives without a love one so in the heat of the battle a suspect gets shot 68 time and dies in the process to too bad one of the biggest problem in this country is the politically correctness and some stupid idiot in the white house (I cannot call him by the title when he has not earned it ) liberals that are anti-constitution including the idiot in the Whitehouse… thankfully we still have freedom even though it is being lost daily and one thing people forget police firefighter soldiers all take an oath to uphold the constitution not the government I took the oath it was for the constitution not the governor or us government…… that being said I am going back to my camera
