Some of the close-up's from an outing today at The Raptor House. A local rehab center. Got lucky because they were doing a private tour and education lecture and had all the birds out.

It doesn't matter that these were taken at a rehab facility, These are very good photos!

This male was released twice and had to be recaptured because it wouldn't hunt on its own. Now it is a very good training example as to why you don't want to over handle wild animals. Glad ya enjoyed them.

How close were you for the first shot? What lens did you use? Ray.

I was using a 300MM F4 L IS lens on a Canon 7D. And I was real close too!

These are amazing! I just told someone about UHH while chatting on an eagle cam site and they saw these and loved them.

I just love close ups of Eagles, Your not going to get this close in the wild so these are amazing.

This is a wild juvenile bald eagle I took yesterday. There was a fence in front of me or I could have gotten closer. I don't want to stress the adults though or they won't return next year!
