Ha Ha, and as a friend said on another post I made on my Face Book page, "at this time of year, the does are usually under a buck!

And what a buck! Wow! My husband would have a heart attack if he saw this.
Is the grass covered ground icy? It looks really cold or frozen but there is no steam coming from the animal.
Both photos are just beautiful.

Yes that photo was taken on about the 16th day of Nov, at 10,000 feet elevation and there was snow on the ground, though spotty in most places. It was taken late afternoon, so it was the warmest part of the day, but still pretty cool at that time of year and at that elevation.

Here's few other photos, taken during that same trip, when it was really cold and not too far from where the above photos were taken.
