Hiding here behind the computer.. Just got back from New York City. Took the train up with my youngest daughter to watch the fireworks. http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-132137-1.html also hit the Brooklyn Bridge http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-132217-1.html Hung out for a few days and took the train home. I would be posting some Macro but it's been raining for the last few days..

Welcome back. Love the bridge photos. I went out to capture the fireworks here in Portland with a lighted bridge in the foreground-- but they moved the barge down river. Nothing worth posting and too many people and no time to move.

Still have bats? I read about the drought (last year or year before?) impacting the bat population and the expectation that it would increase the mosquito population since those bats love those little blood suckers. See bats need to get a better agent to improve their rep.
