I need to buy an L-Plate for my Nex7 I have been able to find 3, the Sunwayfoto, the Really Right Stuff one and the one made by Jim Buchanan.
Are there any hoggers out there who have used the above items and can make a recommendation as to the pluses and minuses of each one. your help would appreciated.

I can only speak for RRS plates. They are precise, fit every Arca-Swiss clamp I have ever tried, and are solid. The choice is yours.

I have the Sunwayphoto SUDPL03, purchased from B&H for $89. It is well made and very versatile and can be configured for many different cameras. I particularly like that it can be adjusted front to back which some of the more expensive ones cannot. This allows me to install it on My Sony SLT55 so I do not have to move it to change the battery or take out the card. I put a small piece of sheet cork between the bracket and camera to prevent slippage and it is very tight.

In the end I decided to get the palmgrip/Lplate combo from Jim Buchanan

Ordered it 4 days ago it was shipped the following day and it arrived today! Camarillo California to Christchurch New Zealand in three days is absolutely outstanding and only $11 for shipping.
