My name is Kelly Reed and I am just getting started with this hobby.
I started out my working career as a Structural Ironworker in 1970 to 1990 and a volunteer Fire Fighter in 1984 to present. My wife and I also have a sanctuary for Wolf/dogs
Tokahe loves to play ball
Lame eye is a big lover once he gets to know you
Hi Kelly, That is a cool thing you do with the wolf/dogs. There are a lot of dog lovers on this site. I checked out your posts cause I saw that you asked for coments on Roberts posting of his web site. The reason noone commented on them was because it was Roberts post. He was showing us that he just launched a web site. It is likely that you will get comments if you ask for them by starting your own thread. good luck and welcome to the UHH....Hopefully you already read the rules...
By the way...nice shot of lame eye, but that is kinda a yukky name for a dog.
Very cool on the sanctuary. Is the public allowed to come?
Lame Eye and his dad Tokahe came to me from an Indian reservation. They were already named. Thank you for the info.

Hi, Kelly, I wonder if you worked on the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station when you were an iron worker. I worked there for ten years.
No I didn't. I came out here from Michigan to work on the plant in 1983 but the union out here changed there mind about hiring boomers. I tried for 3 years to get a job out of the union hall here.
I now live 2 miles north of the plant. My wife has worked at Palo Verde for the last 12 years. I sometimes work there for the outages.
I also have our wolf/dog sanctuary here, we currently have 50 furry friends.

Nonetheless, I'm pleased to make your acquaintance. You're doing great work taking care of the wolf dogs. God bless! :)
Kelly, I can read the happy expressions on thier faces. It takes very special people to open their hearts to rescue & take care of such beautiful animals. I'm just as guilty, my brother calls me the "Zoo Lady" My list is of course dogs (Pyrs) are my love, along with horses. Had a Llama, Emu, Conures, Cattle & sheep. Unfortunalely my bank account doesn't allow me to rescue them all.
