Cape May Ferry Gulls

On our recent return trip to Lewes, DE, we watched the gulls snatch small morsels of food stirred up by the propellers as the ferry departed from Cape May harbor.
Eventually, the gulls started to pass close to the mid and upper deck.

Neat, Sharp close-ups. There actually are charter boats that take birders and photographers out and they chum for gulls and the more pelagic birds.

Thank you for your comments. There were at least a dozen gulls that came in ultra close. It turned into a good 5-minute practice session in aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual mode.
