I have it on my Android tablet. It's free for pc and a few dollars for a tablet. I only use it for fun so far. You can add several locations and you can change the date to see where the sun and moon will rise or set on a future date. This could work for a moon rise next to a piere ect. It's worth a couple of bucks. David
I Use it a lot to schedule outdoor sessions.

One of the few exceptional applications. I would not travel without it.
You guys are either getting weirder or you need to explain to the neophytes what you're talking about.

Great program, especially the free version.

I use the free version quite a lot for planning my sunrise/sunset shots. It's an easy way to find the times and azimuth.

I think it is great - activity has become rather curtailed over the past several months so have had little chance to use it, but still think it is a very useful tool.

It's a web site that tells you the time, azimuth, and angle above horizontal of sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset for any point on the surface of the earth.

You can also get GPS info for images, if your camera does not have it; I put it in the JPEG comment section.

Along with the ephemeris I use an app called golden hour. It will tell you the time for the "golden hour" and the "blue hour" on any day of the year anywhere on earth.
