The Indigo Bunting shots were taken while I was in Shenandoah.
I find these birds very difficult to expose...especially under certain lighting conditions.

Beautiful, C wings! May have been difficult but worth the effort! You don't see many shots of them.

Yes I am CW. I'm about halfway between Charlotte and Asheville. Always something beautiful to see, isn't there? I have seen lots of us Tarheels here.

I think there may be as many of us as there are Aussies!

That bird was the craziest little bird I've ever seen! When I was on vacation in PA I went to an Eagle site where this friendly little bird would land on anything and anyone...he was actually more entertaining then the Eagles. In fact...we sometimes missed some great action shots because we were paying more attention to him than the Eagles ;-)

Thank you Linda...I really appreciate that...so glad you liked them! I tried every suggestion and the only thing that worked was going into my Picasa program and using the saturation to de-saturate it...otherwise the greens are a bright lime green.
