I was visiting Clear Lake Refuge in Utah - saw a lot of birds that I didn't expect to see in the desert.....Does anyone know what this is?
I don't do a lot of editing - any suggestions from the forum on how to make this shot "pop" ?

It's a Black Crowned Night Heron - and it is very soft ! Sharpening, darkening and + contrast will help a little ....

Thanks - I was looking through a guide but didn't think to look at the Herons.
