Your photos are very good, but your flowers are old looking..

Guess it just took me to long to do the processing & they wilted on me. Thanks for looking.

They are ALL gorgeous!!!! :O) But my fav is number 1! LOVE the dark, dark background with the lighting only on the orchids!

"Old-looking" flowers????? Not sure I understand that comment. If you're talking about the spotting on #2's flower, that makes it more "realistic", IMHO! LOL! But everyone sees differently. :O) Also, #2 looks more like a painting, to me, with the reflections used in the background. Nice! :O)

Good job overall! :O)

I really like the 1st and 3rd. The 2nd doesn't look believable.

Appreciate the comment. I questioned that one my self, just didn't feel like a re-do on it.

#1 background is a too dark to appreciate effect.

I really like #3. Well done!

Thank you sir. # 1 didn't show up as well after I posted it. These Mac's are so highly backlit that what you see during processing, they don't show up as much after you post them. Thanks for looking & the nice compliment.

Here's some flowers I just tried something different with as far as the backgrounds. Just for fun.

Like the effects you created. Is this using Photofusion or how did you accomplish this? I use K10 D also.

Appreciate the honest opinion. Thanks. everyone see's differently I don't have a problem with that. A 100 people will see the same photo in a different light. That's what makes photography such a challenge. When you can get 95% of everyone to like it, your on the right track. As long as your having fun, learning & moving forward that's what counts. Thanks again.

This was done with CS5. It's a long process, time consuming, but that's whats nice about being at my age 62, got lots of time. No I don't consider this Photo-fusion just playing around with layering in different backgrounds. It's good practice to be able to do this for you will want to change the background in a photo somewhere along the way. If you want to see beautiful Photo-fusion, look up I believe it's GEOPAPA on here. His Photo's are Awesome. Glad to see someone else is shooting Pentax. That's what I've used for 30 years. Thanks for looking.

I have CS5 also and was thinking about experimenting with this effect after seeing Geopapa's work but I thought I'd need Photofusion software. I really like how your's turned out with CS5 so I will try when I have some time.
