As in other times I've witnessed, a lot of drivers seem unaware until nearly too late...
Love the positioning in the second one.

Thanks Joe! They're much prettier now that they've shed their ratty winter coats :)

I think they'd have their feelings hurt if they heard you saying that. :-D
Beautiful animals, even with thread worn coats! And also beautiful images.
Wow, great shots, Linda. You're really running Wild Kingdom out there, lol. Beavers, orioles, owls, ospreys, kestrels, eagles, mule deer, bighorns, grasshoppers, fish in aquariums--you've got it all!

Beautiful shots of the Bighorns. Here we have diamond shaped bright yellow " xxx Crossing" signs for everything including ducks around urban ponds. Is there signage along that stretch of road to warn drivers of the sheep?
Thank you all for viewing and commenting. It means so much to me!
We do have an amazingly rich wildlife area, especially this "Yakima River Canyon Scenic Byway."
As for warning signs to watch for animals in the road, I believe there is one as you enter, near the one that says "watch for rocks next 22 miles" :)
