Trying for the halo effect

Although an ordinary lily, I was attempting to make it a little less run-of-the-mill. I added a touch of halo to the points of the stamen. I'm not sure it translates well without downloading.

Thanks everyone . Actually, the more I look at it, the less I am impressed. Shouldnt work like that. A good piece should stand the test of time. At least longer than a day. Oh well.

I know what you mean: I'm sure we all have those photos that we think are "good" but lack a certain something to make them "great"in our minds. I have MANY that fit into that category - "good," but not "great."
This is a very nicely composed and well balanced photo. I like the fact that you didn't go "over the top" when adding the halo effect to the stamen. Nice work!
