"They are represented by Benjamin C. Durham, with Cofer, Geller & Durham, in Las Vegas."

I sure hope these are good lawyers, and that they get a very large settlement.

Very disturbing to see something like this in America. The police violating just what they are charged to protect.

Take their budget and more.

OMG. What the hell. Do we have an outcome on this yet? This is definitely one for the ACLU. Did the Henderson papers have anything on this? This is one of the major reasons for our initial American Revolution against the British. I'm sure the cops somehow or other will try to invoke the Patriots Act. We need to get rid of that rushed federal legislation. Its used for everything LEOs do these days.

Lets see two stupid cops do something and this is a reason to call out the good ole boys with their guns to overthrow the government!

What hogwash!

Seems like a good case for a good lawyer for unlawful detention and probably several more charges.

Man I'm glad that wasn't me. It's bad enough them storming the house and attacking the people, but if they would have hurt my dog, I would be thanking very seriously about getting my shotgun.

They should have sued them for the way they treated their dog as well.

If true, two officers cannot act alone if no disciplinary action nor arrests has immediately happened. The entire station and further is obviously thus involved. BUt even if not true, your reaction to it stands clear.

Your kindred were present in Germany as they dragged their neighbors from their homes and confiscated their belongings- I find you nauseating and deplorable. You probably flew a flag on the 4th... that alone makes you a liar.

If this is true the offending cops should be imprisoned for life and have pepper balls shot at their genitals three times a day. No room for criminal tyrants like these to be roaming the streets among free people. Disgusting. Let's see the apologists for over stepping cops come out and defend this somehow. Maybe stress? Yeah, right.

Authorities at various times have overreached throughout the history of this country. Nothing new. Lincoln suspended habeas corpus over 150 years ago! It doesn't mean we're on the verge of a police state. Don't be an alarmist.

Horrifying. But it's only a police state if they lose the case against them - which I doubt very much that they will.

Lets watch this one closely!
