You have to sign in when you open it up the first time with your Amazon user and password. We use it all the time along with Netflix.

It is totally off limits to TiVo users - incompatible, not streaming.

I realize that. I was referring to when you get your Internet enabled device up and running.

Now I understand the difference between TiVo and streaming. I like TiVo with Netflix, and I'll see if I can get Amazon working.

One thing I have noticed but never spent a lot of time comparing is that what is available on prime (no charge) and Netflix are almost identical. Keep in mind this is based on only the searches I have done. What Amazon has over Netflix is that you can rent a lot of videos, for a fee of course, that Netflix does not have.

I like getting the actual DVD from Netflix, in addition to watching them on TV. I was going to connect my Roku box, but I have no more HDMI ports on the TV, and I don't seem to have an S-Video cable lying around. I ordered a couple of cables from Amazon. I buy cables from Amazon so I can watch Amazon TV. Of course, they are delivering them free through Amazon Prime. My life would be so empty without Amazon. :D

They keep asking me to leave, and it's very annoying. I'll be watching a scary movie at 2:00 AM, and one of them will come down the stairs and tell me to get out.

How rude of them!

Yeah. They're going away on vacation next week, so there'll be no one to chase me out.

As far as I know you can get amazon on iPad but if you have ROKU you can also get Am Prime on it. Then you have a choice between Netflix and Amazon Prime... If you don't watch a lot of TV you can drop Netflix most of it is on Prime for free!

Well just tell them to stock the frig with beer and the open bar with good scotch. LOL
Guests can bring your own popcorn.

I think that goes without saying

I hooked up the Roku box, went to Amazon, and there were the free Prime movies!
