Yep. That's the major source of greenhouse gasses.

I think that's a little unfair on the whale. The major source of greenhouse gasses is our intensive farming methods. All those cattle. Having said that, I'm not a vegitarian and I want affordable meat.

Thanks for that. On the subject of little known facts, did you know that an arab can live for a whole year on a single grain of rice? (An old Peter Cook and Dudley Moore sketch).

I've never tried whale meat. Is it any good? It's a scientific proven fact that there are three times as many whales as cattle in the world and that the majority (76%) of greenhouse gasses come from whale flatulence.

That's actually true. An Arab roommate friend of mine did that once. I swear. I haven't seen him lately.

Maybe I should have worded that better. Whales have been swimming around and farting for many years. The increase of greenhouse gases is mainly down to our farming methods. Yes I have tried Whale meat and it's disgsting.

Hmm I have heard that they survive by going out into the desert at night and eating the sandwiches there.

The diver who discovered this - contributed $1M to the Research and development of the closed system breathing system.

Now we have a second source of swamp gas.

I don't doubt it. They are mammals and everyone knows the only mammal that does not fart is the human female. :?:

I have been on many scuba trips out of the Santa Barbara area of Ca.
When the whales show up everyone crowds to the rail to look and take photo's. That is until the whale blows, and then you smell thier breath..................gag a maggot!

And here I thought you had to eat TEXAS STYLE CHILI or CABBAGE to generate that much gas. Didn't know that KRILL are a gassy food. Guess I'll stop eating those Krill Cocktails at social events from now on. LOL.
