I finally got a picture of the bear that tore up my deer feeder. I set up a game camera & couldn't hardly wait to see if I got the picture.

Thank you for commenting. Game cameras aren't very good.

I thought it was one of those wood cut outs. Guess I'm not as funny as I think I am!

Never ate grizz or brown.
Have eaten 3 or 4 blackies, YUM ( Alaskan and Canadian)
much tastier than any deer I have had.
Moose better than deer
Elk better than Moose
Antelope THE GOLD STANDARD in game meat, sweet and tender.

IMHO the above are my opinion, not a scientific related data driven consensus.

***never had occasion to eat end of the year bear, when they gorge on fish to bulk up for winter.

Smoked bear Yummmmmmmmm.
Bear is much like pork - yes gamier - when I was a
boy up in NO.ID. the local slaughter house would smoke them for $0.03 a pound.

Brownies in Loooooosiana? hard to fathom. Blackie's are everywhere.

Were they feeding on fish? I bet they taste like bait
