Thanks Wabbit. That was great.
Some people will do whatever it takes to get things done.

Amazing, I would like to see the face of the plumber who goes into the crawl space for a leaky pipe.

Absolutely amazing! How could one person plan and build all that? It's a shame that it's only 4' high.

I wonder how much of that is from age and how much is from the 4' ceiling.

Thanks for that link Wabbit , that guy has built a masterpiece but as a plumber I tend to agree with Joe that it must be hard to fix any leaks etc down there? He probably has re positioned all the pipes as he looks like he has more than his fair share of brains and patience.

Forget about repairs. How did he manage to build all of that in a place with such a low ceiling. It's packed solid with layout. Of course, he made all the structures, too.

I applaud those guys that can put together things like this. It takes talent and engineering skills. And patience. I've always wondered how they climb over everything if a train goes off track, or to clean the tracks as must be done.

It's all very impressive, but, BUT...what about bugs and reptiles? Or mold?
And...when the old boy passes...??

Danilo....I'm guessing the guy is a pretty good engineer and prepared the basement area before putting his railroad in. No plumbing or water leaks is my guess would keep bugs out. Also, I'm sure he's got a network of model RR friends who will be willing not only to dismantle but purchase what he leaves behind. Gotta admit....it's a pretty cool Man Cave.

A plumber won't be needed if he ever gets a leak (he'll choke to death) ..... that guy will probably try to hang himself ..... problem with that is all he's gotta do is stand up, if he does it fast he'll get knocked out and then choke to death from the noose ..... see the irony here .....

the morale of the story is "Flood Insurance"
