I'm learning to use lights and post production too. Pls comment!
Tech details: canon5d+50mm f1.8, f7.1,iso100 and 1/60secs canon 580exII wit small smallbox.
Suggestions and constructive criticisms r welcome.

Nice images Banjyte, although I'm not sure if you have some dust on your lens in the first one, which is not to much of a problems as the spots can be remove with cloning. No 2 is a lovely B & W portrait. Sorry to grumble.

I think I hav some dust on my sensor. Been tryin to get dem off without luck and also d wall I used as background has few stains. Thanks for the observation. I'll work on it!

Adorable on two counts. Luv her big beautiful eyes. Looks like you had a reflector lower left of subjects...might try moving it higher and a little closer to help lessen the lighting ratio for children...Just a suggestion. If you have room, move them away from the background to drop it out-of-focus. Very nice job with the main light. :-)

Both are excellent shots but could use just a breath of fill on the right. Maybe a reflector.

From the photos Canon has a dust elimination capability built in to their DPP program supplied on the provided disc.Nikon is a little behind in that area
