these are my first photos taken with my Nikon Coolpix P500
the one of the red wing black bird I am really proud of--the tree was 30-40 feet away and it was taken just before the bird took off

have to do something to keep busy now that am retired

thank you for your comment--this is my first digital camera and find it interesting also have the d3000 and am going to upgrade to the D60
