Does anyone have any good ideas about
A travel bag for camera body ,2 lenses,hood,
Couple book and accessories along with small overnight stuff

Take a look at the think tank 4 wheel spinner.

I just got one , to replace a tamron which I really like, but the spinner can be rolled along , no dragging on two wheels. Holds a lot and fits in the above head rack on a plane. You can remove some of the dividers for overnight stuff.

I bought this on eBay for my upcoming travels:
Genuine Lowepro Mini Trekker AW DSLR Photo Backpack Camera Bag For Universal New

It's a regular size backpack and can hold a LOT of gear. AW means all weather as it has its own raincoat built in. I loaded mine with a 150-500mm, 12-24mm, D7000 w/18-250mm and still have a spot for another lens. :thumbup: Works well for me. I have my hands free to shoot and do not have to mess with a bag hanging on my shoulder.

I have the airport security Think Tank. It is the only secure way to go. I keep my lenses, bodies and flashes in it secured to the frame in my cars trunk
