My first hummingbird of the year!

So far this is the only hummingbird I have had the chance to photograph this year. I hope they come to the feeder I have put out or the flowers so I can get a shot of them. For now this will have to do.

You're doing better than me! I haven't even seen one of those stationary ones. Been so wet even the worms don't want to get out!

It wasn't easy Tom, I spent about 45 seconds sneaking up on it and another 30 setting the camera for this perfect shot from a distance of 4 feet. I'm getting a little better at this game.

We have had our share of rain here in MN lately also. The weather the last 5 days has been great though. Hope you have a great day.

So far Angler this is my first one, hope to get more later. Maybe even a live hummer at the feeder. I would think with all the flower types we have in the yard and the feeder it would happen. Maybe I'm not around when they come to the feeder or flowers. I know they are in the area as I have seen them do fly by's and I have scared one away from the feeder once while working in the yard.
