What do the small numbers mean on my 580exii flash?

At the bottom of the screen there are numbers such as .5, .07, 1, 1.5, 2. Does anyone know what they mean? I have not seen this addressed in the tutorials I have watched. Thank you in advance.

Well........According to page 6 of the instruction manual,
that's the flash range in meters [top] and feet [bottom].
You do have the manual, right?

Page 8 of your manual lists 0.5 0.7 1 1.5 2 3 4 6 9 13 18 as Indicator (meters)
Page 11 references it again and there are more...

Actually I don't, bought it used on EBay without a manual. But thank you for input.

Paula, Goto http://usa.canon.com and print the pdf manual ! You can go into C.fn (functions) and change to feet if you like.
