I find an article that states that the Adobe Camera Raw version 7.3 added support for the following Canons:
Canon EOS 6D
Canon PowerShot S110
Canon PowerShot G15
Canon PowerShot SX50 HS

I don't know much about Canons, but have you updated your LightRoom installation recently? Doing so will update ACR for you.

What version of LR are you using? If it is an older edition, the update you need may not be available.

I am using version 4. It updates regularly. I just checked and the SX50 is not there. I didn't see it when I was using the beta version 5 either.
