Love the graceful lines and soft colors of the Trout Lilly. Lighting was perfect for this image.

Thanks for having a look NamVet17. I appreciate your comments. This single flower happened to appear behind my garage this year. Don't know how it arrived at this spot, perhaps by bird. Hopefully it will survive and thrive. Mike

Hi Steve, I've been called a lot of things in my life but never "Master". Thanks for your comments, and for giving me a chuckle. Here is the original photo. Shot with 100 mm lens. Manual mode, ISO 400, 1/250 sec. at f3.5. Tripod, mirror lockup, with remote trigger. The photo shown earlier in this post is a crop from this original. I think the effect you are asking about is the late afternoon sunlight coming directly from the left dancing on the white flecks of pollen behind the stamen that is in focus. A wider aperture tends to accentuate those round spots of light. Mike
