These photo's were taken in 2012 at the city of San Clemente, CA's welcome home celebration for the 2/4. They had just returned from Middle East. Couldn't help but share them with you.

Marching down the main drag of San Clemente
The whole town gathered to celebrate their return
All branches were there--remembering!
God Bless them All. appreciate the photo.. Thanks. Also, you did a really nice job with these photos.
Thank you. Some were used in our local rag but that isn't why I took them. The 2/4 retired were having their annual meeting at Camp Pendelton and this happened to take place at the same time, so I took pictures of both. The annual meeting shots were all formal with back drop, lighting and cross flags behind. Great photo's and they were all given free to those attending. Just my way of saying thanks. I'm too old to do it all over again so this is my way of telling them how I feel.
Hope you enjoy,

Quite obvious you are a Marine as well. Sooo,, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your willingness to protecting my wife and myself.. I'm glad you made it home..
Actually NO! I'm not a Marine. Wish I were but I'm not. I'm actually Army. Military Police to be specific although that was many years ago. But I've got a soft spot in my heart for Marines. Maybe it is because they are so close (location wise) to my town. Maybe it is because I have done so much on base and I've gotten to know them. Or maybe it is because our church works with the Marines a great deal. I think you get the idea.
I will take the "thank you" however as every person who has ever worn a uniform of the United States of America has at that point given his life to protect the USA. Yes, I did and I'm very proud of it. AND I'm very proud of all the other men and women of our military, both past and present and especially to those who have fallen.
Semper Fi (I use this salutation a great deal because I believe in it)

Ya, I agree... I only served in the air guard and was never activated, so I"m not considered a vet, but I do have a great deal of admiration for them all.. Thanks you guys...
Learned to fire the M50, enemy camp training and ate my first rattlesnake at Los Pogus outside Camp Pendleton. Those were the days.
And glad you did share! My dad was a WWII Marine. Welcome.
