Another forum member, and I are Topaz people. We both use Topaz Adjust and Noise to do quick expert processing. They have great webinars for training free. Ya, gotta love it. The plugins work in both PS and PSP, probably others. My favorite Adjust has been upgraded several times at no cost. They now have a webinar on their B/W coming up and give an intro price for attending. AND no I am not employed by them. Do I have any gain except great photos, nope.

I have been using Topaz plugins for quite some time. Adjust is certainly a great tool for overall fine tuning of your images (especially in the post processing of HDR images). Since you get a full 30-day trial with no limitations or watermarked output, it makes perfect sense to try any and all of them out. There are a couple that can take your images to another level as well: Clean & Simplify can give your images a painterly feel that I find quite attractive.

Here are a couple of my examples of those:

No, no, no, those are photos of great water colors,,, confess.

Really great photos, and I will get rid of my scientist brain and switch to artist and do some of the smooth effects. Thank you for the stimulus.

Have you ever wondered where the heck the details and colors come from when you use Adjust! I know it is a math algorithm, but before I die (or in this case dye) I want to believe in magic.

The attached photos:
1. Crimson Passion Reaching; My TZ-3. Solder clamp holding flowers (low cost useful tool). Poster paper. LCD Flashlite taped to #10 solid wire (other end embedded in Plaster of Paris for weight). It was a (points no $) award winner at the Tampabay Camera Club (mytbcc.com). Critiques of every ones photos very useful in my improvement.
2. Same photo using Topaz B/W conversion.
3. A portrait modified using Dynamic AutoPaint, DAP. Also was an award winner. :-D

Same photo DAP dynamic autopaint
Excellent program for dynamic artistic effects.

Like I say, Older PSE etc are the underpinnings for addon and plugins or pre-processing before programs such DAP. Many free thing out there that do not require big $$ like for CS5.5 or the Suit.

Kisha B, I betja that they allow it on desktop and laptop. Many programs do allow dual installation. Worthwhile asking. I asked for the discount price on one of the group and the special was over the previous month and they gave me the discount price. If that is an indicator, then wort asking for using on two computers.

I am going to signup for their webinars, even if I just listen lightly, I usually pickup a point or two. What would I do with out my Adjust, huh. Have you wondered where those details come from, fantastic, and the price is right.

And, Kisha, yes the first Crimson Passion photo was processed with Adjust and Noise.
