NO Georgiann, that was an oak leaf that he trimmed up to look like a poison oak leaf. That scout was always playing pranks and he keeps us in stitches! He's a good kid.

Fun picture Brent. But for some reason I don't get poison Oak or Ivy. If it is real hot and humid, I might get a spot or two when I am out weeding the gardens. But it goes away in a day. Needless to say I pull a lot of it out of friends gardens.:):)

Folks always tell my body will change as it gets older.:) So every year i rub a leaf on my arm and wait for it.:):) But so far so good. But it will happen when I forget what it looks like and use the wrong leaf.:):) :)

Obviously Erv likes living life on the edge, lol. FWIW, I don't have problems with poison ivy either. Never have, to the great annoyance and displeasure of my affected friends.

That is a funny pic...bet that scout is fun to have around...but I think I'd be checking my sleeping bag before crawling in just in case. ;-)
Couple days before we were married, my wife and I were clearing some weeds around the horse barn and Yep, there was one of the poison ones there. Needless to say one of our trips during our honeymoon was to the emergency room. The wife's reaction was way worse than mine. Aauuuggghhhh!

I have absolutely no sense of humor on this subject. This is my leg after 2 days of prednisone. My ankles swelled to twice their normal size. My shoes were too tight. I didn't sleep for a week because of the pain, and I have never experienced that kind of burning pain in my whole life. The sight of this kid touching a leaf to his cheek sends chills up my spine!
I still have scars on my arms.
