Hello to all from Florida Very new to dig Photography. I have a Nikon coolpix 4500. It is god tell I get away from auto :) . I will try some other shots and try to post to get conments. Also I'm fairly dumm when it comes to computers. I really want to get better or more passionet about it. Thank you everyone have a great fourth !!!! :)

Welcome to the Hog John. You might want to lose the date stamp. It detracts from an otherwise good photo. :)

Hi John and welcome!! We all started where you are now.:) What pp editor do you have in the computer? This shot just needs a little tweaking to be a great shot.
Try adding a little definition,saturation,vibrancy,highlights and shadows. Straighten it some and I think you will like it.:):) They all ready told you about the date.:) If you want to know the date a shot was taken, it is in the metadata on the picture and you can always go back in post and get it.

Are you positive it's the USS Arizona? She is still at Pearl Harbor and underwater. The Memorial as it were. Otherwise, not a bad pic of a ship still afloat. And welcome to the hog!

Hi John, welcome to the hog. It doesnt matter about the computer....its what and how you shoot that matters and your first post is very well done....BUT. Like someone else said...GET RID OF THAT DATE STAMP. It does ruin an otherwise excellent picture.
