Saw these guys on Exeter canal - I have never seen so many together :D
the seagulls decided to have a fight

These are nice shots. The swans are okay but the rest of the shots are great. My question is what were the shops originally used for built into the bank like this?

I think the shops were used for storing stuff when the canal was used to bring goods into Exeter - but I will have to research that and let you know :D

Googled Exeter a bit, boy is that a place with history all the way back to BC times !!!!

I had a quick look on google myself - think the history museum and some more pictures are on my agenda next time I'm there - the town itself has some beautiful old buildings :thumbup:

The photos are lovely but I like the second one best. The town setting is fascinating as are the swans for being such a large group of them.
