Scored a major victory

I'm sure I'll pay for it sometime, in some way, but I just scored!
My daughter is getting married in two weeks. We live in a town of 3000 people, so there's not much shopping. My wife wanted me to go with her to the larger town so she could get a new dress. Ok, not bad, and we'll go to lunch as grownups. Before long, daughter wanted to come, then mother-in-law, then granddaughter who wanted to bring a friend, and then two grandsons. Now we have to take two cars.
As we were leaving, I suggested my daughter take all the females, and my grandsons and I would take the other car. My wife looked at me and said "Honey, you don't have to go. I said, really? She said, yes its ok, besides, you look terrified!"
Major victory, but I know I will pay for it.

Ol' Frank Loc: Orlando,

I am sure that somehow that is going to cost you, but give your wife an extra hug and kiss just in case. That has to be the best story I have heard in awhile considering I just spent two days at a fancy resort on the beach at my grand daughter's wedding. Major hit on the credit card. I loved every minute!

Was it a wedding on the beach in Cabo? We attended one for our nephew in April. Quite exclusive.
