Picasa is a free pp program that will run circles around many of the programs you have to buy. I have photoshop 9 but use picasa 95% of the time. I do have to say alot depends on the photo you're working with as to what you come out with. Thanks for the compliment.

Hi pp :) I like the framing and content of #2. I have never used picasa but I know many do. I have PSE10 and really only use one or two tools. I find I just don't have the time to deliberate too much over my images in pp, and try as best as possible to use the in camera tools to achieve what I want..tfp :)

On nice sunny days I take a million photos and stuff them in a folder with the date - guess what I do on rainy days when I don't go out - yup, pp. I have PSE9 but very seldom use it being a true trooper with Picasa. Once you've mastered Picasa (if you ever really do) the effects are endless. I think what's so astounding about Picasa is it's free!!!

Hi you have some great images here, I especially like image 2. I too use Picasa and find it a lot easier than PShop.
