My husband and I spent the evening on the lake yesterday which was also his birthday. It was such a beautiful evening.

Beautiful memory for a special occasion! Looks like it was a "Happy Birthday" for him!
The photo makes me feel like I'm right there. :)

Beautiful picture...Is this the only picture you took? if it is, you missed some awesome pictures. If you had just waited for the sun to go behind the clouds, taken a picture, then just before it sank below the horizon, taken another picture. and probably the best one would have been about 5 to 10 minutes later when all of the clouds would have turned to beautiful bright colors...

Hey, your profile says you're "in hiding" but I know right where you are. I've got a picture of a tree just like that at sunset complete with a dust spot just like that on my sensor about an inch out to the left of the tree about midway up. Lovely shots and you're right - keep on firing. Something good might happen.
:-)

Hi:
I've just joined this outstanding site and I didn't know how to show where I am. I am not hiding from anything or anybody, it was just plain ignorance on my part of how to register on this site, sorry about that. I am at Wildomar, Ca, about 30 miles South of Riverside and about 40 miles North of San Diego. I believe I've corrected the problem by re-registering here so my posts will show that I am no longer in hiding. Thanks for reminding me to clean my sensor, I just picked a couple of pictures without examing them before posting...dumb, dumb, dumb.

Hey, I was just having a little fun with ya. Don't mind me. I just have too much time on my hands. Welcome. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Those two are very good, you know.

Thank you for your comment. I am looking forward to sharing some of my photos and opening them for crticism, most of the time I don't see my own mistakes and need someone else's point of view, someone to point out my shortcomings, it is a great way to learn. I have an open mind and will accept all comments.
