Sorry, but this girl is a shining example of the "gibberish" spoken in the african american community today. No one makes an effort to pronounce their words correctly and it has become acceptable. I'm not expecting anyone to go back to the Kings english (whilst, hereto, me thinks) but just say it so I can understand you. We are supposed to be progressing as a society. Even the slaves from africa spoke better english. I have a friend that's a court reporter in Florida and he says it is easier to understand an immigrant with a thick accent than an african american. That to me is sad. Someone born in this country is harder to understand than someone who immigrated from a foreign country. That's because immigrants make an EFFORT to speak properly. Up until 10 years ago a "ho" was a garden instrument and "booty" was something that pirates were after.
I agree but I also think some of the public already convicted Zimmerman before the trial started.

Did you ever try to read text messages kids send to one another? It's like a whole different language.

Yes. I don't get it. Seems like there isn't any effort to even appear educated. (Russia refuses to bow down. Everything is in Russian and if you don't like it you learn the language or get out.)
"They won't hire me because they are racist when I axed them for a job". I recently was watching TV when this African American (PC?) lady who said she was a high school teacher kept using the word 'axe' repeatedly.
Lizzie Borden asked her mother, "Mom. Can I go out tonight?"
Her mother said "Lizzie, go axe your father."
It really is a sad sight to watch. Of course, the lawyers have interviewed her for hours during depositions, so they are familiar with her.
The lady has nothing to do with the case of course, only a long distance "ear witness." She's done nothing wrong, except for using some false names and changing her accounts over the past year when dealing with lawyers and reporters.
However, this will show some more insight into her sad state of affairs:
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/crime/zimmerman-witness-gets-twitter-scrub-748092I hope she uses this event to perhaps get some more education and give her a chance at a better life. But, she might like what she has.
There is some irony in a person with such poor grammar lambasting others for their poor English.

You have to give him a break, he must be really, really old. He personally spoke to slaves from Africa so he must be really old.
It is a problem but not with blacks only.
A few years ago we lived in a semi-rural area of Pennsylvania where it was difficult to understand many of the white teenagers.
My wife dubbed their language "white ebonics."

Believe it or not, there was an effort several years ago(thankfully, a failed effort) to teach ebonics in high school. It was proposed that students would be able to take that course instead of a standard English class. Those that supported the course claimed it was too difficult for students who have never spoken proper English to do well in a course that was, essentially, taught in a "foreign" language.

The sad thing is that this is the future of America and the nucleus of the democratic party.
I do remember a US TV program called '77 Sunset Strip' where a character named Kookie would talk "Kookie talk" and it would have to be translated (for the viewers presumably)by the main character Stuart Bailey.
This took place in the late 50's - early 60's but because it was just a TV program it was accepted, although really based on the language used by the beatnik fraternity of the time.
The bottom line is that the English language is an evolving beast which will never stand still and if people use words often enough they will become the norm, although not necessarily accepted by all.
So instead of complaining, use these incidents to exercise your brain to decipher the code and consider yourself smarter than the speaker as you will now be able to talk two languages. ;-);-)
