Hello everyone! Just joined today, have watched the site for some time and looks like a site that one can get information needed about photos and cameras!! Looking forward to reading about camera's and looking at more photos. Currently I own a Nikon D-60 but am looking at the Nikon D-3100. Consider myself very amerish, but have had the Nikon for six years and have taken thousands of photos in the "auto" mode. Just learning more about the various dials, whistles and buttons and am really excited to learn more and more and more.

Welcome to the hog SqBear....We love having new people become old people here. Just keep asking questions and posting pictures it wont be long before you are not a newbie any more. Your first posting is great, especially pic 3, pre prom night...how did you ever get the girls to jump in their prom gowns?
Rich

LOL!!
Actually Rich, I didn't do anything. There was a 10 year old boy on the trampoline jumping and two of the girls made him get off so they could jump. I just happened to walk around the corner to see them. Asked them to jump in sync and after several tries, walla there they were!!
The girl in the Orange is my granddaughter, she is a character!!
Now a question...how do I correct some of the mistakes I made in describing the photos?

Thanks to all for the welcome too!!

Im not sure what mistakes you did make on the descriptions, other than that the boots are on the lower Right corner. Which other mistakes are you looking to correct?

LOVE that prom photo!! And did you notice the socks of the girl in the middle?

For a while after posting there with be a link for "Edit" and one for "Edit Description" if you want to make corrections. After those options disappear there is no way to change them.

Yes, the girls with socks on wore the cowboy boots to the Prom!! The girl in the Blue gown wore sandals.

What a laguh we all had with them on the trampoline and some of the other shots as well!!

Thanks for the compliment too!
