It is cloudy in Marysville tonight. I just got a peak at the Moon through the clouds. It is going to be beautiful for those that get a shot!!! Very hazy here right now. But I see cleanings coming in.:):) Not good shot but I will take it and hope for a clear sky later.:):)

Not looking good for me either, rain all eve, cloud cover thick. I have some from last night which is hazy and an ok from the night before but hoped to get one while great, fingers crossed, equipment ready!

I do like the second one just for it's composition.
It is a wonderful clear cloudless evening here in the Sierras of CA - I have both camera out on the deck set to start shooting when the moon clears the pine trees surrounding my house.

Here are a couple from July 31 2012.

Also one from last night June 21 2013.

The first and third are of the same moon but photographs are a year apart. Guess not much has happened to the moon over the last year. :roll:

Same moon but clouds stated to set in.

This was taken about a week ago I think I like it better ...disappointed with the light tonight way to bright to slow down the shutter speed to get the details... This one was shot at 8sec
