Reflection pix usually work best with 'both' the subject AND reflection in the pix. A bit disorienting otherwise. Possibly that was the desired effect?

Ok understood. I didn't want the subject distracting from the reflection but I have to agree that it can disorientating..

Luv the fact the you like B&W and that you are 'thinking' about what you are doing! Nothing but good stuff can come from that.

Yep, if I didn't know better I'd say you just flipped it upside down. It does look good in b/w though.

Nice photograph. Very similar to a photograph I made in Baltimore a few years ago. See image below....

some people do that. Here is a suggestion for you...go to the search bar and put in reflection.....look around and see what jumps out at you. that should give you an idea. Hope this helps.

I really like the photo Niranjan, and the only thing I see that may make it better is if you pulled back a bit on the zoom. I think that's what the others were talking about, so I am being redundant. I'll be quiet not, nice pic though.

I disagree with some of the comments actually---I love the original photo! I don't think you should flip it or include the original non reflected subject. You can tell its a reflection on the edges and there is some water ripple in the middle. I think its really great as is! Love the black and white too!

Disagreement is good! I think the key issue on this photo is the intended subject. Photogs luv the unusual, however, the masses are going to have their brains hurt a bit.. On the other hand, that can be good/provocative and create questions which is even better!

I personally LOVE the original! There is just something about it. I like the flipped one, but not as much as the original.
Just my opinion.
