In the past couple of days, some posters said that they thought PS6 was no longer available. I just checked, and Photoshop CS6 is available as a separate product for download, provided you want to spend $700 for it.

I heard they are going to have a 'buy one get the 2nd one 10%off.
I'm lucky that many years ago I was able to get a 'boot-leg' version (on disk) for only $50.00 It's Photoshop 7 and allows me to do all I need to do with my 'still photos'
grouping of Butterflies
put my golfer buddy on cover of magazine
Dixie chicks on Broadway background

I wouldn't admit to that $50 purchase online.
Nice composites. Judging by the cover, that must have been an interesting issue of "Golf."
I didn't recognize the Chicks. I thought they were your assistants.

Well after another issue or 2 of Photoshop they finally got it to where it's very hard for the little guy to 'steal'
their work.....Now they just 'steal' from everyone buy 'letting you pay monthly for the rest of your life for the use of Photoshop'
It's strictly a 'business tool' and therefore a tax deductible item for most users, and oh yes for the 'regular guy' who blessed with more money than he knows what to do with.
Good for them.

Jerryc41... PS-6, not CS-6. PS-6 is the 7th Photoshop version. CS-6 is the 13th.

that sounds about right..I believe most of the upgrades from PS 7 had to do with Video....which I don't really care about..if PS7 only handled RAW....I wouldn't have to use a step to convert it to Jpeg before working in 7.
Where is Bath, NY ?

Bath is in the Finger Lakes, about 85 miles south of Rochester. 8 miles south of Keuka, Lake, the Y shaped Finger Lake.
