A few from the Dam yesterday morning...
White Ibis, Wattle Bird and Magpie Lark.
The magpie Lark has several names, Peewee, Peewit, Mudlark, depending what state you live in. Here in South Australia we call it a Murray Magpie.

Nikon D90, Sigma 150-500mm.

Nice shots. Very vivid. The White Ibis looks like what we call a Stork.

The Ibis has several varieties and is common all over the world Brett...there are many birds that are similar in size, egrets, storks (many types) cranes, Herons, etc, etc...
I'm pretty sure storks all have straight beaks...? I stand to be corrected though...
Glad you liked the shots...thank you...
Cheers,
Ron.

They are beautiful when in flight as they have some lovely colours under their wings...I'll see if I can find a pic, I think I have one somewhere...

We have some great areas here, but usually have to travel some distance to see them...this is why I enjoy our local Dam, only about a kilometer away and several bird species on-site...The walkway in the background is great as you can get right out over the water...
