The moon between June 14 and 18 2013

The June 23 moon is supposed to be the largest moon of the year. I started taking pictures on the 14 and will take more until the 23rd, hoping there will be no clouds !

And you took them with a $25 camera with a broken lens... or what did you use... I have taken a few during rare clear dry nights here in Florida... and know your photos are really great photos showing detail and correctness of exposure. Thanks for sharing the images.. Now, please, tell me what camera and settings you used so I can be envious and emulate.

It is the new Canon PowerShot SX 50 HS and I just put it on Automatic zoomed 100X ! Easy... I love it :)

It is the new Canon PowerShot SX 50 HS and I just put it on Automatic zoomed 100X ! Easy... I love it :)

DSLR take notice you are being replaced with cameras like the Canon PowerShot SX 50,, the iPhone and a line up of 24/7 (P&S) large sensor cameras later this year and next...
