Not too many insect out today but I have never seen as many beautiful flowers in bloom as I saw today. I think it has something to do with our late spring. All done with Canon 100mm macro and a tripod. Just slight crop and a bit of tweaking in elements

   The more I see images like this, the closer I am to getting a lens like that. These are great! Thanks for showing.

Thank you. the other way that I do flowers is with a blurred background. I use a 300 mm lens, as close as I can focus and get the beautiful backgrounds that the macro does not give me

with a long lens and with a 1 add on

I like all of them, great job! I want a macro lens but not sure which one I want. I am waiting on the arrival of a 40mm coming tomorrow that I rented for 5 days. Can't wait to see what it does.

I couldn't afford a Macro lense right now, so I bought Macro filters. I also have been having fun taking pictures of flowers and insects and reflectors.

I bought the 100mm because 1) it was on eBay and not too expensive--2) 100mm is the perfect size for portraits. This actually gives me two uses for the lens.
