I've been working on my Lightroom Catalog in preparation of importing my images from my recent 5 day Sierra trip and I ran across some Blue Angels shots in a folder that hadn't been post processed and made ready to print. I can't for the life of me figure out how these got overlooked, except to say I get interested in a lot of other things and go off on tangents sometimes, or my attention had been diverted because of some other pressing matter and it was forgotten about in the course of events.

I got to thinking about the many images of the Blue Angels that I have, and what would I call a collection of some of the more outstanding ones --- "My Favorite Blue Angels Shots"? I don't know, it's hard to say, because of the literally hundreds of shots of them I've taken of their shows here in San Francisco throughout the years. Anyway, I thought you might like to see this and at a later time, after I get organized, I shall publish more from the lost (?) folder.

This image was taken on Oct. 7, 2011 and was taken from the end of the "Exposition" pier at Fort Mason, San Francisco, Ca.

Your comments, critique, and suggestions for improvement would be appreciated.

After all that talking and you show ONLY 2 photos...You are brutal...... I've always wanted to go to SFO for fleet week and still haven't made it. But it's usually held during the air races or shortly after when I have no money left over from the races.. But even tho you are being brutal about this I think you have some excellent work. Very clear and the composition is perfect. Just my humble opinion.. Now,, can you pleeeeease show some more???????? please???? LOL...

I will certainly post some more here on UHH and also on my Flickr site, but that will come a little later, as my main focus right now is getting all of the images from my recent Sierra trip imported into my main Lightroom catalog.

It is not possible to work on any images while a folder of images is being converted from canon raw (cr2) format to Adobe DNG, because in doing so, all of the images in the folder are select and any thing you do to one image will change all of them, too!

Just putting that out there for other Lightroom users to be aware of. Found this out the hard way when I used the "p" keyboard short cut to make a pick and wound up with every image in the folder becoming a pick.
