looking for marco tubes that will fit a nikon d 90 for my 17 daughter . i bought her a cheap one and it wont work , she is in school and limited on funds so a used one would be great!!! auto focus too I think
The cheap tubes will work, she just will have to set the mode to manual (it's the only mode that will work) & use the old "sunny 16" rule to get into the ballpark with metering (since the camera will not meter without auto tubes). From there, she can use the LCD & Histogram to fine tune her exposure. I shot this way with a D70s & older manual focus lenses for years. Many of the older shots on my Flickr stream were done that way. If she wants to shoot macro, manual focusing is the recommended way of focusing...

You'll probably have a hard time finding used tubes as everyone who has them use them often.
Get a set of Kenko tubes off of ebay for the best price. If ebay doesn't appeal to you, use Adorama or B&H Photo.
