I took this picture on a nice sunny morning. Apparently he had to scratch his ear :). I would love to hear what you guys think, good and bad. Seriously... you can't hurt my feelings.

As a suggestion try cropping out some of the branch. I think it doesn't add to the composition. ;)

Thanks for the suggestion seeSAW. This photo is already cropped somewhat and I did try a closer crop but in the end I chose to leave the branch in as a kind of reference of scale. I also thought that the branch going from corner to corner added some drama to the image. Thank you for the suggestion though, I may revisit that close up crop.

I can see where cropping the branch a little more might make it better, but I particularly love the back lighting, color and that you captured this moment.

Thanks vicksart, Yeah, This is a shot from my parents porch and it was a golden morning. Unfortunately when I uploaded the photo to the website it lost that golden hue.
