all shot on a nikon d7000 handheld apart from number1 which was shot on a nikon d90 ,still finding the focusing hard but i think i may be improving (i hope).

not bad at all looking good
nice, when you start to see the liquid on the tip this is a good indicator that it will accept pollen. Go do some hybridising.
Nice. Can we see a reference shot? I think this might not be an orchid. Perhaps a Lily?

Think you are correct in its not being an orchid. It looks like some of my tulips. Of course, I have not seen all orchids or lillys.
