Coffee, bed, plates, washing machine door ?
I love mooching around car boot sales and always buy something I dont really need.Good shots.
I like looking around to see what is on offer - particularly things I see at a boot fair for the first time.
In recent years I have got many really good bargains but - probably due to the recession - there have been no real bargains.
Recently I saw a Canon Film camera with box and a 80 - 300mm lens for £60.
The owner said that it was a film camera so the lens was no good for a digital. The owner went on to say he would have liked to keep the camera but he now has a digital. I questioned him on which digital he had and ascertained it was a Canon EOS so I pointed out to him that the Canon lens would fit any Canon camera and that on the Digital he had it would give him almost a 500mm lens which was great for the nature photography he liked.
With that information he decided to keep the camera and lens. It was worth losing a bargain to see how pleased he was.
I was repaid when later I bid on and got a new Tamron 18 - 200mm lens at a lot less than list price.

Thanks for looking, I am addicted to them.
The favourite saying my missus has got is "What on earth have you bought that for" mine is "it`ll come in handy one day"

Thanks for looking.
Shame about the lens you missed, but you made someone happy. :-)
