Well I sent for a set of 39mm extension rings in the hope that I might be able to use paxette lenses on my panasonic lumix g1, it did,nt work, I could not get infinity, only close up shots. Solution, I clamped it in the lathe and very carefully cut away the surplus metal both internal and on the face, cost of the rings, £9 on ebay. It worked a treat, a nice simple mod if you know anyone with a small lathe, here are a couple of shots taken with an l39 50mm f 2.8 zenar lens, was it worth it, only time will tell. !

Nice lens, I hope that the 'refinements' work ok! I have just started collecting vintage (old!) cameras and am now starting to recognise some of the quality lens that are still out there!

Its a bb gun, daisy powerline, 32 shot bought at a car boot sale, wanted it for a prop.!!
