How to attain a hard copy catalog from a print agency?

I am new to the professional market and I want to show my clients some of the options they have: photo books, albums, frames, etc..

I am not sure that I want them to know the price that I pay.
Basically I want a list of products without pricing that I can show my client, giving them options.

Is this an unethical practice, to keep clients in the dark about actual cost of production?

How would you go about attaining a catalog like this?

What company would you suggest for printing? Based on quality of print, selection, and user interface.

I have looked into some of the companies that are recommended on here but I have not found a way to get a hard copy of a catalog.

How would you approach it? Email?

Thanks a lot.

I think you'll need to find your suppliers first, then create your own website and print catalog, showing only your retail prices. There are multiple ways to create your own catalog, whether loose leaf or a printed booklet. I'd suggest starting with a nicely prepared looseleaf notebook, so you can easily and inexpensively make changes as your business grows.

However, a little search on the web will let most customers know what price ranges are available. Then they can decide if you are fairly priced.

I am new to the professional market and I want to ... (show quote)

I have actual samples of the products for my clients to see and touch, I find it helps boast the ad on sales but I also have a physical studio with a sales/show room.

I know some print companies do offer client catalogs that do not show pricing, you will need to contact you print company to find out if they are one of them. The only issue with that is you will get their entire catalog, not only the items you wish to offer.

I used to do weddings, I used this company for all the albums, proof books, etc, etc. This was long before the internet came to us, but they are on the web here;

Albums, Inc Give them a try. I always liked their products and service.

Did you ask if they have catalogs, we get garment catalogs that have the suggested retail price in them. But our cost can be up to a 1/3 of that price. So you can give people a deal.

The companies supply the catalogs free, if you what them with your name it cost. But it's minimal.

Ask about setting up a vendor account you will need tax ID number a business checking account and some want copies of business licenses. But if you really are going to be in business do it right. It's a lot easier in the long run. Good luck
